India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd has launched the new Touring Bike, Fazer 25 in India. Almost every company are looking to conquer this touring segment which is currently owned by the Royal Enfield, we’ve seen the touring bike from Bajaj, Bajaj Dorminar 400 and now Yamaha also comes with its own touring bike.
Yamaha Fazer 25 has 249cc air-cooled 4 stroke engine with fuel injector mounted on the lightweight frame. The engine can produce maximum power of 29.9 PS @ 8000 RPM and maximum torque of 20 Nm @ 6000 RPM. The engine did quite well in the Japanese market, the company further fine-tuned the engine for the Indian road conditions. Company optimizes the intake/exhaust system and the ignite system for the Indian roads.
The Fazer 25 is designed for long distance riding comfort and fuel efficiency. Mostly sports bike is not designed for comfort and it’s interesting to see how the sporty design will provide the comfort on long distance trip.
The bike also features LED headlight, LCD instrument cluster, aerodynamic front cowl, wide comfortable seat and 14L Fuel tank for the long distance push.
Yamaha Fazer 25 will be hitting the Indian roads by September 2017. The Bike is also complying with BS-IV emission standards.
