Fiat India unveiled Fiat Abarth 500 along with with Fiat Avventura and new Fiat Linea at Auto Expo 2014. Fiat has launched the Abarth brand in the Indian market with the launch of the Abarth 500. The Abarth brand stands for ultimate performance small Italian cars.
Fiat Abarth 500 loaded with an array of features such as gas discharge headlights, sunroof, cross drilled brake disc, sports seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension with up-rated springs, ABS, EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistance), 7 air bags, turbo boost gauge, twin exhaust outlets, parking sensors, fog lights and hi-fi music system.
The company didn’t reveal about which engine they’re going to use, but US Abarth 500 is powered by 1.4L 16V MultiAir Turbo Engine which produces 160 HP of power and 230 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with 5-speed Manual Transmission.
