Tata Motors has launched its new Electric Sedan in the Indian market called Tata Tigor EV.
The Tigor EV is powered by Ziptron electric motors which produce a peak power of 55 kW and peak torque of 170 Nm. The car can reach 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds.
The car packs a 26kWh High energy density Lithium-ion battery pack with liquid-cooled power electronics, 7″ Harman touchscreen infotainment with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. The infotainment offers 30+ features including remote commands, intrusion alert, remote cooling, charging status, time to full charge and remote diagnostics.
Tigor EV is compatible with globally acceptable CCS2 charging protocol and can be fast charged as well as slow charged from any 15 A plug point. When opting for fast charging, it will only take about an hour to charge from 0% to 80% capacity. For home charging, it takes approximately 8.5 hours to charge from 0% to 80% capacity.
In terms of safety features, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill assist and Corner Stability Control.
