Royal Enfield launched Thunderbird 500 in India for Rs. 1.82 Lakhs (On Road Mumbai). The motorcycle was first showcased at 2012 Indian Expo and is now ready for sale. Thunderbird 500 equipped with UCE500 engine which produces peak power of 27.2 Bhp at 5250 RPM and peak torque of 41.3 NM at 4000 RPM. The engine is mated with 5-speed manual gearbox.
Thunderbird 500 comes with both Kick as well as electric start.
They’ve added new split-design seat, projector headlamps, LED tail light and a larger fuel tank. Thunderbird 500 can travel up to 500 Km in one go.
