Bajaj Auto & Kawasaki launched its new sports bike, the new Kawasaki Ninja 300 for ₹ 350,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike will replace the Ninja 250R which was very popular in India. The Kawasaki Ninja comes with 29ccc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with new Digital Fuel Injection (DFI) system that uses dual 32mm throttle bodies and provides both improved fuel economy and cleaner emissions compared to last year’s 250. The engine will give an output of 39 BHP of power at 11,000 RPM and 29 NM of torque at 10,000 RPM. The new F.C.C clutch design with assist and slipper function provides more power handling capability. It’ll make easier use clutch and helps reduce the effect of back-torque to reduce wheel hop when downshifting.
In Body design, the Ninja 300 uses high-tensile steel main tubes that are 150% more rigid, new 10-spoke 17-inch wheels, revised six-speed transmission, dual headlamps, revised instruments, minimalist tail section, separate seats and a floating visor.
Kawasaki Air Management System (KAMS) uses a special deflector to channel hot air from the back of the radiator, so that it exits the bottom of the motorcycle, instead of being blown onto the rider.
The new Multifunction digital display features a speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge, digital clock and warning lights. The Economical riding indicator (ECO) helps riderknow how to operate the bike in a manner that will maximize fuel economy.
The Bike will be available in Green & White.
